Honda Integra For Sale — Import From Japan

DC2 and DC5 Type R — B18C and K20A

The DC2 Integra Type R is regularly called the best front-wheel-drive car ever built, and the Japanese-market version differs from the US Acura in ways enthusiasts care about — including the four-lug hubs, the close-ratio gearbox and the higher-output B18C.

Eligibility runs on month and year of manufacture, not model year — as of today, anything built September 2001 or earlier qualifies. Within a generation marked “phasing in” some build dates are legal and others are not, so the individual car matters. Tell us the chassis and we will check its exact build date before you commit.

JDM DC2 versus the US Acura Integra Type R

America received the Integra Type R, but the Japanese car is not identical. The JDM DC2 makes 200 PS to the US car's 195 hp, uses a close-ratio gearbox, and wears Honda rather than Acura badging. Both are excellent; the JDM car is the one people import.

Almost the whole DC2 run has crossed 25 years; only the very last cars are still waiting, and the earliest DC5 is close behind. Rather than pin a date here that would be wrong next month, the table above computes the current position for each generation on every page load.

What we check before bidding

What it costs to import a Integra

The prices above are the vehicle in Japan. On top of that, budget roughly $3,000–$5,000 for ocean freight, standard export and import fees, US customs duty, and US title service. We quote all of it as one landed price — unlike exporters who advertise a to-port “shipped” price and leave you to hire your own customs broker. See the full cost breakdown.

Is the Integra legal to import?

Any vehicle 25 years or older is legal to import into the USA without meeting modern FMVSS safety or EPA emissions standards. Eligibility runs on the month and year of manufacture, not just the model year, so within a single generation some build dates qualify before others. If the exact car you want is not yet eligible, we can buy it and store it in Japan until it is. See the 25-year rule explained.

Is the Integra you want legal yet? Our Honda Integra import guide breaks eligibility down by build month and works through what one costs landed and titled in the USA.

How buying one from us works

We bid at Japanese auctions and buy from dealer stock on your behalf. Before any money moves, the car is physically inspected in Japan — photos, video, and a condition report, not just an auction sheet grade. After purchase we handle export, ocean freight to your nearest US port, customs clearance, import duty, and US title, so the car arrives ready to register. Typical timeline is 45–60 days from purchase to delivery.
